Graber Olive House

The beautiful historic Olive House is home of world famous Graber Olives grown and processed by the Graber family since 1894. A rare delicacy has been created in Graber Olives: meaty, with a superb nutlike flavor. The natural full ripeness and flavor have been preserved by selecting and carefully processing only the fully tree-ripened fruit.

Browsing is encouraged in the shops which offer a variety of fancy foods, food accessories and unique gifts in addition to Graber Olives and other fine Graber products.

Museum of History and Art, Ontario

225 So. Euclid Avenue, Ontario (909) 395-2510

The Museum of History and Art, Ontario, has been honoring Day of the Dead traditions with large-scale exhibitions and events for two decades, recognizing the wide array of cultures worldwide that choose to honor ancestors during this time of the year – Mexican, European, Asian, Central/South American, North American and Native American.

Artists participating in the museum's “Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life” let loose their creative talents on altar installations and other provocative works of art, some using the opportunity to connect with friends and family and others to create playful dances of visual artistry – a laugh or two in the face of death. Artists share a common thread by tapping deeply into personal heritage to reflect beliefs in life beyond the grave.

A diverse and colorful presentation both broadly educational and entertaining, this year's “Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life” exhibition is bound to create a lively dialogue and a stimulating backdrop for a thoroughly enjoyable el Día de Los Muertos experience.
